Bingo Overview

Bingo

Bingo UK bingo (which differs from American bingo) is popular throughout Australia, New Zealand, and, of course, the United Kingdom. Commonly known as housie, UK bingo is played on a numbered card, known as a "ticket." Random numbers are called out, and players mark the corresponding numbers on their own tickets by daubing them with a special "dabber." Depending on the rules of the game, the winning player shouts out "line" or "house" to announce his victory. He does not call out, "Bingo!"

Bingo lovers can enjoy their favorite pastime by playing housie over the Internet. Depending on the online casino chosen, players can gamble real money or simply play for the fun of it, often for free. Playing online bingo is both a rewarding and engaging way to pass the time.

Multiple Bingo Tickets

For the enthusiast who enjoys playing bingo in a real-world setting, playing online can help him hone his ability to play multiple tickets at once. Real bingo lovers rarely play a single ticket at a time. For them, the fun doesn't start until they juggle four, five, or even six tickets at a time.

The faster a player is able to scan multiple tickets to look for a specific number, the more likely he is to call out "house" or "line" before his neighbor. Although bingo is mostly a game of luck, a bit of skill can mean the difference between winning a prize and losing it to a slightly speedier player with an equally winning hand.
